From simple certification to world class adventures Stu and his team are fantastic. One must dive site is Race Rocks, considered one of the most challenging and exhilarating dive sites in the Strait of Juan de Fuca. With currents that often exceed 5 or 6 knots, the window for diving is limited to the slack tides that occur every 6 1/2 hours. In addition to the thrill of the rich marine life, divers can search for debris from over 100 ships that have been wrecked at Race Rocks. Spring and Fall are the best diving times at Race Rocks, with good visibility fairly certain.
Access to Race Rocks is by boat only, with marine eco tours provided out of Sooke Harbour Resort & Marina.

Demamiel Creek - Our local Par 3 course, Damamiel is great for kids or a quick game. Boardering DeMamiel Creek, the quaint, well kept course is perfect for a non competitive game, and who knows, you could get the course to yourself! Ask the Front Desk for directions and tee times.
Galloping Goose Trail - This 60 km trail, from the ferries to the abandon gold mine town of Leechtown, the paved path welcomes bikers, horseback riders, afternoon strolls, babies, grandparents and breathtaking views of the Basin and Sooke Potholes. This is a great way to spend your vacation outside with the whole family. Stop for lunch and a quick dip at the Potholes and trek up to Leechtown to do some exploring!

 East Sooke Provincial Park - Directly across from the resort, East Sooke Park is over 6000 hectares of hiking trails, from moderate hour hikes, to intense day long coastal trails. Swimming at Matheson Lake is popular in the summer, and kayaking around the serne Roche Cove is very popular. Bathrooms and parking lots are clearly marked.
