12 certified salmon and halibut fishing charters are located onsite year-round and our membership is comprised of the most reputable and experienced local fishing operators from Sooke to Port Renfrew. Many of our guides have chartered in Bamfield, Langara, Port Hardy and Gold River, choosing Sooke Harbour as their home base. Our goal is to provide you with the best, the safest, and the most memorable fishing adventures possible at a fraction of the cost of other Fishing Lodges.

Our Guides are industry leaders in sustainable fishing practices and believe that education though experience will create annual fishing pilgrimages to the Sooke Harbour Resort & Marina and guarantee that anglers from novice to advance will be thrilled with our local fishing. Sooke Harbour Resort also participates in local efforts with the Sooke Salmon Enhancement Society and hosts Fishing Derbies for donations to the local hatchery.

Trophy Chinook/King Salmon
(20 to 60+ pounds) - May through September.
